Sigma Sigma Sigma is a volunteer-driven organization, and as such, is dependent on the commitment of alumnae members to share their time and talents. Each volunteer commits time, loyalty, flexibility, creativity and organization, communication skills and love for Tri Sigma. Volunteers are appointed by Executive Council for the triennium, and as needed during this three-year period. Appointments are based on position availability, ability to fulfill responsibilities, and individual talents and interests matched to position descriptions. Annual alumnae dues of $45 must be paid in order to volunteer.

Ways You Can VolunteerExecutive Council
One of the most important and exciting items of business conducted at Convention is the election of the Executive Council.  Refer to the summer issue of The Triangle to understand how the nominating process works, what qualifications are necessary for Executive Council service, what positions are available and how to make a nomination. 

The nominating process is open from July 1 to November 6, 2012.

House Corporations
A House Corporation is the permanent group, usually comprised of three alumnae, which owns or rents the real and/or personal property to the chapter whether it be a house, lodge, suite, or room. 

If you are a Sigma alumna or a parent of a Sigma collegian and are interested in volunteering in the Housing department, please contact Shannon Thomas, Housing Coordinator.

Chapter Advisory Board
The role of the CAB (formerly known as Alumnae Advisory Board or AAB) is to guide a collegiate chapter in adhering to National Policies and Position Statements, to monitor overall chapter operations and serve as a link between the chapter and National Organization. The Alumnae Advisory Board may consist of a Chapter Advisor, Scholarship Advisor, Financial Advisor, Membership/Recruitment Advisor, and other areas of chapter operations - Honor Council, Accreditation and Awards, Alumnae Relations, Essential Sigma, Ritual, and special projects. Advisors are appointed for a triennium.

National Officer Service
National Officer service is a privilege and provides alumnae the opportunity to share time and skills that will contribute to the future of Sigma Sigma Sigma. The National Officer structure is illustrated in the Organizational Chart. Appointments will be based on position availability, ability to fulfill responsibilities, and individual talents and interests matched to position descriptions. Appointments are on a triennial basis and it is expected that each volunteer will fulfill her term commitment.

The Organizational Structure Committee has worked over the past 12 months to structure the volunteers and staff and realign it with Sigma's mission, vision and values in mind.  "Our goal is to always provide the best possible support for our membership, from chapter management, programming to expansion, financial strength to recruitment" cited Laura Sweet, National President.
