Sigma Shares a Story
Since the 1998 Convention Tri Sigmas have generously donated approximately 1,600 children’s books by local alumnae chapters to charities of their choice. Once again, we will continue this tradition.
Please bring a children’s book to the General Session, Sunday June 24th. Our Nashville Alumnae Chapter Sisters will collect the books and give them to Book’em Nashville.
Book’em Nashville is a local, nonprofit, children’s literacy organization focusing on two core areas: providing volunteer readers to local preschoolers, Head Start centers, and elementary schools; and collecting and distributing new books to children in lower-income families who might not otherwise have books of their own. The organization’s mission is to inspire the love of books and reading in all children.
